The Topline Strategy Group is a Strategy Consulting
and Technology Due Diligence firm that specializes
in growing, technology-based businesses.
Over the last 10 years, our work has assisted our
clients in capturing hundreds of millions of dollars
in incremental revenue and market capitalization.
Staffed with individuals who bring a rare mix of strategy expertise gained at top strategy consulting firms and operating experience gained at start up and established companies, the firm's Strategy Consulting Practice has a proven track record of helping clients grow their existing businesses and successfully build new lines of business. In 2011, the firm added the Technology Diligence Practice when it became the operating partner in a joint venture with Semaphore, Inc. Started in 2001, the Semaphore Technology Diligence Practice has worked with investors and acquirers on hundreds of engagements, helping them assess the risks, costs, and opportunities of the technology-based products and IT systems that drive their returns. Jon brings a unique blend of
strategy consulting and
hands on operating
experience to The Topline
Strategy Group. Prior to
founding Topline, Jon was VP
of Marketing at Promptu, a
venture-backed CRM software
company. He also served in
senior marketing roles at
Documentum and Docent. Jon
also worked as a Case Leader
in the Chicago office of The
Boston Consulting Group,
advising Fortune 500 clients
in a range of industries on
corporate growth.
He holds an MBA from The Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell. Kathy Gogan, Partner
With nearly 20 years of
experience in executive
marketing positions with
enterprise software
companies, Kathy has
successfully introduced high
technology products to
newly, emerging markets
while vice president of
marketing of Eloquent,
Docent, and Decisive
Technology as well as
expanded the market share of
established products to
multiple channels in
executive positions with
Informix Software, and
Hewlett-Packard.
Kathleen holds a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Kathy is a speaker at user group events and marketing conferences including San Francisco American Marketing Association, TechCoire, Southern California Business Manager's Association, and the Silicon Valley Product Manager's Association. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys hiking, sailing, and downhill skiing. Darci Hamilton-Klein, Consumer Goods Practice Director
As the Director of Topline Strategy's Consumer Goods practice, Darci leads Topline Strategy's Consumer Goods engagements and lends her deep expertise
in consumer marketing to Topline Strategy's Consumer Technology projects.
Before joining Topline Strategy, she served as a Marketing Director at Diageo and Brand Manager at Clorox managing household names like Clorox Liquid Bleach, Brita Water Systems, Glen Ellen Wines, and Bailey’s Irish Cream. She was also a Regional Sales Director at Progressive Insurance, responsible for $120M in revenue. Darci earned an MBA from The University of Chicago, is a published author, and founded a 501c nonprofit organization. |
